North Island Festival of Performing Arts
Our Mission Statement:
- To advance, promote & develop an annual educational competitive festival using adjudicators recognized in their field of the performing arts.
- To offer and grant awards to festival participants who demonstrate excellence and proficiency in the performing arts.
- To stimulate a greater appreciation and understanding of the performing arts.
- To encourage the study and practice of the performing arts.
- To produce the Provincial Rep Showcase and the Dance Gala. All shows are fundraisers with encore performances from the festival participants for your entertainment.
General Information
An annual festival featuring adjudicated performances in the following disciplines:
Dance – Ballet & Modern, Stage & Street.
Festival participants can be recommended by the adjudicators to compete in the annual Performing Arts BC Festival.
